the Statue of Liberty doll does not appear to be pretty in my eyes, thanks to Amazon, for giving me the opportunity to find her a new home!

Goodbye, Liberty, wish you best luck.

Posted by helen on June 15, 2010

I went to the DOW Exhibit Ribbon Cutting Event & had a wonderful evening.

besides drinks & food of the world, every guest received this doll as a gift:

The food of the world was wonderful, only national flags next to the food, I’ll post 3 of them, can you tell which countries they are?

if you are interested in seeing the exhibit, here is detailed info:

“Barbie® Dolls of the World”
June 16, 2010 – August 15, 2010

Barbie is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the famed “Dolls of the World Collection” with an exhibit featuring cultural dolls adorned in authentic native costumes, representing more than 40 nations across all seven continents. Visitors can connect to their heritage in a fun, fashionable and interactive way by browsing the exhibit and filling out a Barbie passport, answering questions about their heritage found throughout the museum. Also debuting is the new Barbie Landmark Collection, inspired by some of the world’s most celebrated architecture, highlighting the Statue of Liberty. On August 6th the exhibit comes to life through a cultural fashion show at the Statue of Liberty.
