it’s all about culture differences, people have different ideas of Beauty. Mattel’s designers may be very pleased with their “Chinese Barbie”, but she would never have market shares in China. She would be the Wallflower forever!Although I didnt like this doll, I was forced to buy her when the eBay Seller put her & Fashion Fever Drew together as a lot. What a great combo! Since the price of this lot didnt go up, I bought them back. The More I looked at her, the more I couldnt bear her, I finally removed all of her face paint and gave her a new makeover, she looked better, but I wasnt impressed. I had to throw her back to eBay, fortunately, someone took her home. Good Luck, girl, wish you happy at your new home!
She is dressed up with Japanese Kimono–well, for many doll collectors, they cant tell the differences between Chinese & Japanese.
