A true Talent

Posted by helen on November 27, 2012

2 years ago I posted my adimrations for a gifted Artist from South Korea who I discovered her works through ebay,

she doesn’t often repaint Barbie, but when she does, Barbie comes alive!

Take a look!  Don’t you think she does fantastic job on these Barbie Faces?  very detailed but subtle, nothing is overdone?

Lara face is my least favorite sculpt, but I like what Yu did to “Barbie Loves Benetton”  Milan doll

You see, even a silly Fashonista Doll can be transformed in a sophisticated way:

Amazing, isnt it??   ooh, I forgot to menetion her Monster Highs are very cute, too

you can find herOn eBay, her doll prices do often go up as high as they should. so perhaps someday you would like to grab one?

(photos were all taken by Yu, I “fair-used” it)

Wow, if only Mattel would be able to produce dolls with this type of facial screening! Thank goodness for OOAK artists. I’ll have to keep an eye on her auctions!
