only b/c you…

Posted by helen on March 9, 2011

I have just said I would only buy the Godess of the Galaxy if she has complete legs, not like Athena, who only has boots but no legs,  this person immediately aired his oppinion against me:

“For me, it wouldn’t matter if they were or not as I would never redress her – what could she wear that would even come close? “

Should I let you know that if you dont have anything “come close”, it doesnt mean I dont have something “beyond”,  the sky has NO limits. there is always something BETTER. this is  how  life develops.

Barbie is very open-minded, but not every of her collector

Silkstone Russian Ken Nicolai is an improvement

Posted by helen on March 9, 2011

I saw this Russian silkstone Ken doll at Toy Fair, but he did not speak to me,  I had no interests in him at all.

This morning I came across this  photo http://i56.tinypic.com/2jdnrzk.jpg  on internet,  he looks so much better without these silly russian costumes on. I think the doll has lots potentials to be a star. you just need to re-dress him appropriately

the 45th Anniversay Ken is not really a good looking guy,  the Fashion Insider Ken has a half rooted hair, a half glue-on hair on his head, it was a big turn off, both of them are very Feminine; Mad Men have painted hair, they fell into action figure category, so I blocked them out of my collections.

Mattel has never been good at making male dolls , although Nicolai is still in lack of masculinity, he is an improvement.   I may adopt him, but his costumes have to go.
