the reality show “say yes to the dress” seems pretty SILLY to me. many of the brides-to-be  have a very tight budget,  so why spending thousands of $$ on the dress that you cant really afford? the credit card debt makes a great contribution to a unhappy marriage. besides, even you have that money, is it the best way to spend it?

you see, this bride loves the dress that’s priced $35,000, I guess that’s 2/3 of her annual salary, maybe  one year of her salary after tax.  Anyway,  she really loves that dress, the entire family is there to make bargains for her, Mom & Dad are great prce negotiators.  the price finally came down to $12,000,  huge price cut,  isnt it?  but, —still too much if you dont really have the cash in your bank account.

 a $120 dress probably can  give her  the same look if she really knows how to dress herself. 

when it comes to fashion, the price isnt the key, money doenst buy you the best look.
