I just singed up with IOFFER.com, of course I am not expecting to sell anything there, and I swear I would not buy from that site, either.
looks like everyone can sign up and list items there for free. can buyers get their items after them make payment? really depends on his luck. b/c the site doent need sellers to present any identification, one email address is enough to sign up… the site is full of scammers, I just posted a “Wanted AD”, looking for Barbei Convention doll “Voyage in Vintage”, a spammer responded immediately, claiming he has the item, and paypal payment is acceptable, he started his message with “Dear Friend” —typical wording used by Spammers from Africa & Asia. they think everyone is their “dear Friend”, he included a link in his message, so I tracked him down, and found he’s from Henan,China. a place 99.99% people dont know what Barbie convention & Barbie Collectors are all about. and this spammer was telling me he had the doll!
Ioffer.com? well, Not recommended, its better you get you items from Amazon or ebay. yes, we all know eBay sucks, but you still have your basic protections. eBay charges sellers so much, the fee keeps going up, a part of the fees we paid goes for “recovery” missions, to cover up the damages done by bad sellers or bad customers.
