Barbie for President dolls are playline dolls, they should have never been put on BarbieCollector website for sale, as they degrade & cheapen the iamages of Barbie Collector, it drives away potential high-end doll collectors. Mattel thinks some collectors collect playlines, some will buy for their kids, so they mixed them into the collector dolls. These playline dolls are everywhere in your neighborhood stores, people who want to buy for themselves or their kids can go to TRU or Target or Walmart, putting cheap-looking playline dolls up on BC to grab Mattel’s own existing customers fromTRU or Walmart to BC is a very BAD marketing strategy, as they dont increase the palyline sales in general. it does not help to expand new markets. Mattel didnt learn from their previous failures. they have put SIS and Fab girl on BC website before, these silly dolls ended up at $5 or $6.00 each set (a set of 2 SIS sister dolls)
okay, if you dont know what I am talking about, just think if a valentino flagship store decided to put a few JC crew pieces in front of their side door…
BC website should aim on people who collect high end dolls, not the groups who buy for their kids under 6–they can use Barbie.com

they are extremely cheap n ugly…..im very turn off w those dolls…it really ruined the reputation of better dolls from collector dolls than playline…now they are mixing them…..very dissapointing….and please those cheeroes doesnt apeal me at all…..hus crazy collector would want doll wearing jersy n w pompoms????????n the president thing………..ewwwwwwww….it thought she was that nerdy secretary…….wearing ugly bad fitted suit…..and the worst its pink…..
