Countess Dracula Barbie & “Nighty Brights” Francie

Finally, BFC made an announcement about the upcoming new releases: Countess Dracula Barbie (by Bob Mackie) & Nighty Brights silkstone Francie (by Robert Best)
Countess Dracula Barbie is designed for Halloween. they call it a “spooktacular” doll. Bob Mackie Dolls alway carry heavy loads on their shoulders, they are very much like the hard-working Porters from the old days: without the help of any modern equipments, they had to carry everything on their shoulders… this Countess Dracula not only has her shoulders full but also has her head stand the test of a 20 Lbs heavy load: her hair is shaped like a giant heart –perhaps the countess has no heart inside her chest, so she decided to carry one on her head. another explanation is that she loves Valentine’s Day better than Halloween Haunt. I have no idea why this doll is called Countess Dracula, she really is just anohter las vegas Showgirl.
I dont know her price, 2 previous Bob Mackie dolls (Circus & Golden Legacy) are $175/each , perhaps this one will fall in the same price range. I have no interests in this doll, so it doesn’t matter if she is $34 or $175.
“Nighty Brights” Francie looks lovely, I like her PJ set and the little dolly she holds. but I dont like her accessory pack. the coat looks ugly to me. I think its a pretty easy task to design some cute outfits for youthful-looking Francie, so I am lost why Silkstone Francie doesn’t have an interesting wardrobe. what a shame.
