I picked "Liquitex" Basic Matt and the salesperson at "Pearl Paint" recommended "Golden" Varnishes(satin) as sealer. All of my brushes are also from Pearl Paint, they are a bit pricy if you compare to these sold at Walmart or K-mart, , but mine have very good quality. I have size 20/0, size 2/0, size 0000, size 00000 you may consult with the sales professionals in the art supply stores, some of them are aritist themselves. There many kind of paint you can choose.
