I decided to dump Kimora & E! Red Carpet, b/c I cant bear their rooted cheap-club-dancer-looking eyelashes.
I started E! at 0.99, Kimora at $9.99. Hopefully the prices would go up a little bit. But I am ready for my big losses. I like their costumes, so I’ll keep the costumes. E! came with an idiotic finger ring, which means there is a hole on her right ring finger–I hate that, too.

I have not developed any fond feelings for the Vintage Barbies, although I bought a few repros to serve up my curiosity, I always get bored with them. I now still have 3 Vintage Repros, I wish one day I could get rid of all the three.
I bought this one from an eBay seller. it only took 3 days for me to lose interests in her. so I made this dress out of my umbrella cover(bag) and sent her back to eBay. I though no one would want her, but she did find a new home! lucky her, and happy me!
Not only “Vintage” dolls, I am not fond of any dolls that were produced prior to 2000. I especially HATE Twist-and-Turn body type. they are just to ridiculous. I guess as a collector with no long history, I am so not used to theses old doll faces and bodies…

I made an around-the-city trip! From midtown to uptown, from Manhattan to Queens, from Jack’s to FAO, from Daffy’s to Target… oh, boy, my feet hurt!
I brought home 2 AA Birthstone beauties: Miss July & Miss Jan–when I got home, well, I found I’ve already had AA Miss July! How sad, I didnt remember a thing!
I picked 3 sets doll outfits as well. they are quite cute. I dont often buy doll outfits, as most playline outfits just dont meet my standard, and collectors’ are expensive.
2 very cute Tea Sets also caught my eyes. since I am participating BC’s Tea Ceremony Gift Swap, I bought them for my project. I was the one who suggested this Japanese Theme, we voted to decide what theme we should go for, the race was between Japanese Tea & Wedding Day, but Tea was the winning Theme. More than 20 people signed up for this exchange, since the sign-up deadline is April 5Th, so more people will join in. I have everything I need for the project, but I don’t have time to start.
I also bought a new rice cooker, small-sized but cute and easy-to-use. now I can enjoy properly cooked rice! LOL
There are many other items I brought home… night light, food… etc. etc….wow, I just noticed that one of my Birthstone Beauties only cost $1.49! Instead of $14.99, the cashier girl punched in $1.49! A big store like that doesnt use price scanner but manually punch in price, that’s very stranger.
I had very nice dinner as well. oh, now it’s time for me to get a glass of wine!!!

Whoever put her on eBay and asks for more than $350 is GREEDY. Unbelievable, $350 is not met his reserve!!
with $350, I can find any great doll companies in China or a fine artist in NYC to do much better job for me! I myself can easily reach the same quality standard of the Walmart’s Japan Barbie
I probably could even find doll factories to make me a few Japan doll samples for free. All I need is sending them a picture of the Barbie– but then I have to do it under my company’s name… my boss would kill me. “you are fired”–probably would be his final words to me. LOL
after all, I am not a die-hard Barbie collector, regardless of their market prices, I give dolls my own appraisal, I dont buy all the Barbie Dolls, I only want the ones that are prettier than what I have now. when I get a new dolls in, I then sell a few out. –I dont want to build an overpulated Barbie Kindom at home.
Japan Barbie is only worth $29.99, so I dont want her at $69.99. If I had her, I would sell her at eBay, too. but I would start her at $69.99, then, let her follow the market flow.
Okay, my weekend project–A japanese doll.

”Spring Clean” time, I am having very difficult time to scale down my junkies. most clutters are fabrics, my own clothes & Babie Doll Ensembles, I have thrown away a few big bags, but still have 2 huge bags, I have no place for them but am not ready to give them up, either…
I pulled everything out & dumped them on the floor… It’s been 2 weeks, I have not yet cleaned up the mess, but my rooms are almost back to normal now, maybe by tomorrow evening, I’ll have clean and tidy living spaces…
I actully still wana go shopping for Barbies tomorrw, remeber, I still want to have AA Miss July…

Made another trip to Toys R Us, nothing much left there, I bought an extra Kimora & 2 Hair Wear Barbie. Kimora will go on ebay to compete with Walmart’s Japanese New Year Barbie. oh, both Princess of China & Korea can easily defeat this Walmart Exclusive, too.

oops, she is already sold out. but that’s fine. I dont really miss her. I actully think the promo picture is bettter than the actual doll. at $69.99, I’d rather get anothre Kimora doll–simply her outfit looks worth more money. but I do not like her face.
the promo pic of Oshogatsu Barbie is very pretty, like a silkstone, but the actual products is another story
Dolls of the world: Japan
I have got an idea, I’ll dress up my Kimora Barbie with an OOAK Kimono and dump her at eBay…

after watching a few episode of “What not to wear”, I feel like dumping all my clothes & accessories into the trash can & buying a whole new wardrobe!
Lance stopped by my office today, and told me that Arthur has asked him to remind me everyday of not forgeting his Wedding Date!! He then added: do NOT wear your Jeans and Sneakers to the wedding.
oh, sure, why would I want to be the worst-dressed person at Ar’s wedding? I know what not to wear, but I dont know what to wear. I’ll come up with something soon.
